Unique Avenue provides 24-hour residential services to females that include; Child Care, Treatment for residents with Emotional Disorders, Educational, Recreational and Transitional Living.
Child Care Services
This care includes assisting and supporting the child in developing and maintaining sex/age appropriate social skills. We will provide emotional support and reassurance to clients while facilitating their adjustment to their current placement, and their involvement in activities that stimulate/enhance their development and sense of well-being.
Treatment Services
Clients receiving treatment services are involved in a variety of behavioral and therapeutic interventions. Structure and support is provided for each client as they work on recovery from previous life situations that have helped to create emotional and behavioral difficulties. Clients are involved in mental health counseling/therapy conducted by a therapist licensed by the state of Texas. Also, they will receive group therapy, and when applicable family therapy.
Educational Services
Our goal is to maximize our clients academic growth while they are at UA. Clients will attend schools that are approved or accredited by the Texas Education Agency. Child Care Workers and Tutors will help residents to develop a strong foundation and continue to blossom within their academic studies.
